About Us
Our organization has been in existence since 2004--originally as SEGAMAMA--going into the schools during Red Ribbon Week. We came to the conclusion that not only children but also adults needed our services. We had tried to reach kids, and found those same kids sitting in our classes when they became adults. Denial is a powerful lie. "It will not happen to me", is the battle cry of those in denial. So we established the G.A.P. House Ministries, Inc. and still remain a chapter of MAMa.
In 2011 G.A.P. House Ministries INC. became our own 501(c)(3). G.A.P. offers peer recovery support services for individuals seeking continuum-stabilizing support and sustaining recovery from substance and behavioral addiction. G.A.P. House utilizes a holistic approach to recovery and rehabilitation and recognizes that recovery is a non-linear process.
Our services include consultations, family support, and recovery support from lived experiences. We also have trained Certified Recovery Coaches, Drug and Alcohol Treatment Specialists, Crisis Navigators, and DOT Certified Collectors. G.A.P. provides services for anyone who struggles with addiction!

Our Commitment
At G.A.P. House Ministries, Inc., we realize that addiction is a devastating disease which destroys too many lives. We seek to foster strong relationships with the community, schools, criminal justice system, and treatment centers to bridge the gap between addiction and a healthy lifestyle. Assistance is offered navigating families to and through both the treatment system and the criminal justice system. Help is provided to devise a recovery plan for the whole family. Successful completion of a treatment program is only the beginning of recovery. Recovery becomes a new lifestyle.
G.A.P. recognizes difficulties encountered upon returning from treatment. We continue to be available for individuals in recovery by providing referrals; emotional support; and a safe, drug-free meeting place. If you are looking for the necessary tools to reach your goal of a healthy, substance-free life, you found the right place!
